Adam Sau-ping Wong
was born in Hong Kong in '75. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in '98. In '96 as an exchange student he went to the University of Iowa in U.S. and started making short films and videos. Fish ("97), Ah Wai & Murphy ('99) and Glowing ('00) were awarded in the Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards where Glowing got the best script, gold award and grand prize. It was also the Best Independent Short Film in the 7th Golden Bauhinia Awards. Adam has participated in several video and installation exhibitions. In recent years, he has directed the making-of for Three, Golden Chicken and 1:99shorts. When Beckham Met Owen is his directorial debut feature. He was nominated for Best New Director of Hong Kong Film Awards 2007 for Magic Boy.

Charlie Lam
is a graduate of the Academy for Performing Arts and noted cinematographer whose credits include Tai Tai, which competed in the Cannes International Film Festival 2002. He was the cinematographer for the student film Crossing, which won Kodak Vision Award 2001, the Kodak The National Award 2002, and the Kodak the Competition Regional Award Top Award Top Honors 2002. Charlie is one of the most prominent cinematographer in Hong Kong new cinema. His other credits include Butterfly, Jiang-Hu, Night Corridor and Fear of Intimacy . He awarded the Silver Shell for Best Photography of San Sebastian International Film Festival 2007 for Exodus.

Kwok Wai-lun
is an independent film director whose works include the feature films In the Dumps and And So and So. His latest film Darkness Bride is invited to Pusan International Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festival.

Lawrence Wong
is an independent film director whose feature-length film Cross Harbour Tunnel was officially selected at the Berlin International Film Festival, Rotterdam International Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival etc.

Nose Chan
Began video-making in 1998. His short Well (2000) won the Distinguished Award in the 6th Hong Kong Independent short Film and Video Award. In 2003, he participated in the 1st Berlinale Talent Campus in The Berlin International film Festival. He also participates in many independent film productions, including Darkness Blade (2003), Magic Boy (2007) and High Noon (2008). That's Why You Go Away (2009) is his debut feature.

Jessey Tsui-Shan Tsang
Earned a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design and Technology program from City University of Hong Kong in 2005. Her first narrative short Lonely Planet won the Silver Award at the Hong Kong Independent Short Film & Video Awards (ifva) in 2004. Her first web work All About My Ho Chung explored new media forms by documenting the village life of her hometown in Sai Kung using video clips in an interactive interface. Her work consistently fuses fictional structures with real people's true stories. She has finished her second narrative short Où est la sortie? in 2007, based on a grant awarded by the Alliance Française in Hong Kong. She was invited in 2008 by CHATEAU de PADIES to be the featured artist in France for a month. In the same year, her first feature film Lovers On the Road was finished, which won the Best Drama Award of the 8th South Taiwan Film Festival; it was also presented as Opening Film in 2008 Singapore Asian Film Symposium.

Simon Chung
was born in Hong Kong. A graduate of Toronto's York University, he majored in film production before returning Hong Kong. Since then, he has been active within the local film and television industry, including the territory's independent film distributor Ying E Chi. His second short, Life is Elsewhere ('96), was given the distinguished award at the Hong Kong ifva (Independent Short Film& Video Awards). Innocent ('05) is his directorial debut. Filmography : Chiwawa Express ('92 short), Life is Elsewhere ('96 short), Stanley Beloved ('97 short), First Love & Other Pains ('99 short), Innocent ('05), End of Love ('08).

Vincent Chui
Graduated from Communications Arts Department of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Started his career in Hong Kong Broadcast Television Company. He's been working in the independent field since 1993. Made his first feature Leaving in Sorrow in 2001. Second feature Fear of Intimacy (2005) was the closing film of Taipei Film Festival and selected film in Competition of Moscow International Film Festival. The most recent film is 3 Narrow Gates (2008). He has also worked in different field in the film and video industry in recent years.
